Fraxinus excelsior ‘ Aurea’, common name golden ash is a cultivar of European Ash. It is a
medium to large tree; slow growing with a spreading rounded habit. The new spring foliage is pale yellow, turning a bright green in summer. The autumn colour is a vibrant gold, leaving the stark yellow trunk and branches in winter. Planted by the Moss family in 1992.
